These are the new vocational training titles to be offered in Elda next academic year

Elda is solidifying its position as the capital of Vocational Training, with new courses for the upcoming academic year. In total, 62 vocational training courses will be offered in the city at CIPFP Valle de Elda, IES Monastil, and IES La Torreta.

The Councillor for Education, María Gisbert, highlighted that "Elda has been committed to vocational training for many years, and this commitment is yielding results because it is an education that generates wealth and prosperity."

At CIPFP Valle de Elda, a new line of study will be offered with the Specialisation Course in E-commerce. This allows the closure of the Commerce and Marketing line and includes a master's programme to manage e-commerce platforms. It is only implemented in two centres in the Valencian Community: one in Valencia and the other in Valle de Elda.

IES La Torreta has achieved a new Intermediate Degree in Aesthetics and Beauty this year, within the Personal Image family. "It is a degree that has been in demand by the sector because the aesthetics part was missing, and it is a cycle with high employability and will be in high demand," stated Esther Riquelme, head of vocational studies at IES La Torreta.

Finally, IES Monastil offers only one branch of vocational training, but this year it is fully complete, from the Basic Degree in Physical Education (maintenance and conditioning of sports facilities), the Intermediate Degree (guiding groups in the natural environment, mountain, cycling, horse riding, and swimming), and the Higher Degree, which already had the Sports Animation modality and this year has achieved the second modality, which is Physical Conditioning.

The director of IES Monastil explained that "students in this branch will have qualifications to work in gyms, as personal trainers or physical trainers. This year we are reinstating the special teaching courses in sports technicians in the handball specialty. If they complete the Higher Degree, they have direct access to the sports branch of the University."

It should be noted that the registration period for vocational training begins on Friday, May 23, and runs until June 2.
