The King's Cup will begin for Hércules on October 29, 30, or 31 away from Rico Pérez and against a Segunda RFEF opponent. Rubén Torrecilla's team will know their opponent next Thursday, the 10th, and the main goal is to avoid synthetic turf to prevent injuries.

Hércules' possible rivals are: Sant Andreu, Pontevedra, Lleida, Guijuelo, Langreo, Orihuela, Estepona, Logroñés, Águilas, Utebo, San Sebastián de los Reyes, Barbastro, Numancia, Atlético Paso, Europa, Cacereño, Badalona, Bergantiños, Don Benito, Llanera, Escobedo, Ejea, Olot, Conquense, Laredo, Móstoles, Ávila, Salamanca, Juventud de Torremolinos, Xerez, Ibiza Islas Pitiusas, Coria, Alfaro and CD Minera.

Hércules included the first round King's Cup match in the season ticket if it was played at Rico Pérez. Therefore, initially, members will have to pay if Torrecilla's team wins that first match and then plays at home.

On the other hand, the white-and-blue team is preparing thoroughly for this Sunday's match against Antequera as it needs to get back on track after the setback against Castilla. In addition, the white-and-blues will play two away matches afterward where their performance has significantly dropped. To face the Malaga team occupying promotion playoff spots, Torrecilla will have to repeat with Sotillos at right-back due to Alvarito's relapse. Samu Vázquez has started training with the group but his return will not be rushed.

The Hércules coach is sure to prepare more changes in the lineup and one of them could be Dani Romera's return to the forward position instead of Agus Coscia. Moreover, Javi Moreno has been knocking on the door for weeks but Torrecilla has always repeated the same formula: Oriol Soldevila on the right with a switched foot, Nico Espinosa on the left and Aranda behind the striker.

No changes are expected in the engine room with Mario García forming a double pivot with Roger Colomina while waiting for their chance are Canary Islander Artiles, Alicante native Mangada and Cameroonian Angong, the latest signing.

In central defense it seems likely that Josema will pair with Montoro again along with Retu at left-back. Central defender Cantero and left-back Del Moral have yet to debut and could get their first minutes against Antequera.
