There are restaurants that one must try at least once in a lifetime. Among them is a select group that populates the prestigious culinary guides with which one can travel the world from dish to dish. One of them is the Macarfi Guide, which on Monday, February 17, unveiled the best establishments in each autonomous community.
In the case of the Valencian Community, 15 restaurants have been included in this list, six of them in Alicante, in a showcase that each year expands its proposal to discover essential offerings of Spanish gastronomy. This 2025 edition has been evaluated by a body of several thousand 'ambassadors' and brings together great classics as well as several innovative proposals.

The proposal by Alicante chef María José San Román has managed to reach the ambassadors of the Macarfi Guide who have included it in their 2025 list. This restaurant by the Alicante Port champions the reinterpretation of Mediterranean cuisine. Thus, local products from the sea and land are essential in its dishes, creating a harmony between traditional flavors and modernity that turns fusion into an art.

La Finca by Susi Díaz has been another of the Alicante awardees at the gala that on Monday revealed the best restaurants in each autonomy. This haute cuisine restaurant also delves into the province's ingredients to offer creations like asparagus ice cream or red mullet on creamy rice with beach cuttlefish. The venue of the famous Elche chef boasts a Michelin star and two Repsol suns.

The cuisine of Alberti Ferruz in Xàbia is also included in this list, which features some of the most special establishments for 2025. A combination of innovative techniques with seasonal products and a lot of imagination make up this cuisine that has captured the attention of the Macarfi Guide 2025.

Chef Kiko Moya has turned the interior cuisine of Alicante into an art form at this restaurant in Cocentaina. The venue, which also has two Michelin stars and three Repsol suns, invites you to discover mountain gastronomy through a tasting menu where culinary tradition is passed down from parents to children.

This is evidenced by the three Michelin stars of the Alicante chef, which have made this venue a must-visit in the province for food lovers. A recognition also granted by the Macarfi Guide by awarding him the first place in the Valencian Community, shared with Ricard Camarena.
The Macarfi Guide is one of the most recognized worldwide when it comes to Gastronomy, only behind Michelin and Repsol. In this 2025 edition, it has included 15 restaurants from the Valencian Community, recognized for their quality and expertise.
