Carmen Posadas boards the ship. She does so on an Ocean Race vessel, experiencing an immersive event to present her new novel in Alicante. With 'The Mysterious Case of the Titanic Impostor', the author returns to bookstores, not alone, but with Emilia Pardo Bazán transformed into a character.
The Galician novelist, resurrected by the pen of Carmen Posadas, takes the reins of the narrative to investigate the case of this impostor who, ten years after the shipwreck, returns to his wife's home, aiming, among other things, to reclaim the inheritance. He also arrives with Ignacio Selva, one of her fictional characters.
Thus, Carmen Posadas sets a new mystery in motion within this noir novel aura, where, alongside the identity and personality of each character, humour prevails. Regarding this case, the impostor's, brought to her domain, the author acknowledges that "there are many cases of plagiarism and novels written by ghostwriters."
