The Teulada Town Hall is set to commence the works for the 'Waste Management Plan: Installation of Underground Containers' on Thursday, September 5, 2024, with an expected completion period of six months. This project aims to enhance the municipality's waste management through the installation of new underground container stations at several key locations.

Initially, two container stations will be installed on Avenida La Paz, Moraira. Subsequently, two more will be established on the Teulada-Moraira road. Following this, another station will be installed on Calle Médico Doctor Carbonell and a final one on Paseo del Senillar, opposite the Moraira Health Center.

This project has been made possible through a provincial grant from the Diputación de Alicante amounting to €399,400.14, supplemented by a municipal contribution from the Teulada Town Hall totaling €215,061.61. The total investment allocated for the plan is €614,461.75.

Mari Cantó, Councillor for General Services and Teumo Serveis, expressed her satisfaction with the commencement of these works, emphasizing the importance of this project for the well-being and quality of life in Teulada-Moraira. "This intervention was essential as it marks the first phase of necessary renovations across all waste collection islands and batteries in the municipality," stated the councillor.
