Teresa Picó Baeza has been part of the Alicante Bonfires since birth. At just one year old, she joined her district, the foguera Carolines Baixes. This Alicantinian wore her first mantilla at just ten months old, holding the title of 'minibellea'. This was followed by roles such as 'minimadrina', 'minipresidenta', and 'minicremaora'.

After her first four years with fire ever-present, this 23-year-old is certain that the central focus of Alicante's official city festivities is the foguera, admitting that one of her favourite events is the plantà. This sentiment is shared with the flower offering to the patron saint, the Virgin of Remedy.

This candidate for bellea del foc 2025 defines the Bonfires as "one of the most beautiful and special traditions of Alicante", which combines art, music, and fire as "emotions that are intensely experienced". Ultimately, the Bonfires of Saint John "reflect who we Alicantinians are, because they unite us to celebrate our culture and our roots".

This Alicantinian shares her passion for the festival with other hobbies such as music, travel, dance, sports, and spending time with her friends. She combines all this with the Bonfires, which are "more than just a festival, it's a lifestyle because I couldn't live without them".

In her commission, Teresa is "the girl of 'one more coquito'". This affectionate nickname dates back to when she was four years old at the racó and "didn't want to go to sleep". That night, she kept telling her mother "one more coquito", even when all her friends had left. It's an anecdote that is still remembered.
