Seventeen-year-old from Aznalcóllar died on Wednesday afternoon after being stabbed outside the school where he studied, in the neighbouring town of Gerena (Seville).
Sources from the unified emergency service 112 of Andalusia informed Europa Press that around 2:35 PM on Wednesday, a call was received regarding a 17-year-old who required urgent medical assistance, as he was unconscious near the school in Gerena.
At that moment, a helicopter from the 061 emergency service and units from the Local Police and Civil Guard were mobilised, given the reports of a possible stabbing.
Sources from the Gerena Town Hall specified to Europa Press that the victim was a 17-year-old from Aznalcóllar who studied at the local school. He died after being stabbed in the area near the educational centre where buses park, just as classes ended and the school community was leaving.
The alleged perpetrator of the crime is reportedly identified, and both the mayor of Gerena, Javier Fernández Gualda, and the mayor of Aznalcóllar, Juan José Fernández, have visited the scene, where the victim's family members are also present.
