Horneo EÓN Alicante makes a strong start in the transfer market with an eye on the Asobal League. The first signing is Flavio Wick (1995), a goalkeeper from the Swiss league team Wacker Thun.

With the Wacker badge, where he has played over 330 matches, he has won the League and the Cup. He debuted in the Swiss top division at 18 and has continued to play there to date. During this time, he has been named MVP in numerous league rounds.

Additionally, he has international experience as a regular call-up for the Swiss National Team and has competed in the EHF Champions League, the European League, and the EHF Cup with Wacker Thun. Despite his 203 cm height, the goalkeeper is known for his reflexes, especially at close range, good positioning, leadership, and precise counterattack throws.

Abraham Rochel, sports director of Horneo EÓN Alicante, describes him as "a proven, top-tier goalkeeper who covers the goal well and is very explosive." "Both the sports management and the coaching staff have followed him closely in recent months, and we are convinced that both as a goalkeeper and personally, Flavio will meet the project's expectations. He is a player with character and explosiveness who loves to celebrate saves, engage with the fans, and I am sure the supporters will enjoy this goalkeeper," Rochel explains.

On the other hand, Horneo EÓN Alicante announces the arrival of Lautaro Robledo (2002) from Viveros Herol BM Nava. The right winger played last season with the Segovian team on loan from TM Benidorm. During this last season, where he also played as a right back, he participated in 30 league matches and scored 47 goals. In the previous season with the Benidorm team, it was his first European experience, and he managed to score 21 goals in 21 matches, achieving a 100% success rate.

The 22-year-old is an Argentine international who won the 2022 South American Championship and previously competed in the Junior Pan American Games in Cali and the Pan American Games in Buenos Aires. He is a young player with a promising future.

"He is a player who has spent several seasons in ASOBAL and played this last season in a team that finished at the top. Moreover, he is the prototype player that Fernando Latorre likes: young with plenty of room for improvement and someone to work with in the coming years," says sports director Rochel.
