The Sushi Buffet in Alicante That Almost Ended Cenando con Pablo

The famous food influencer asks the restaurant owner to stop bringing more food or he will end up in the hospital

Pablo Cabezali is the name behind Cenando con Pablo, the social media channel where the author gives his honest opinion about any type of hospitality establishment, from village bars to the most exclusive three-Michelin-star restaurants.

It is not the first time Cenando con Pablo visits Alicante. He has already tried some of the most emblematic restaurants both in the capital and the province, such as Piripi, which he visited because it was the favorite of chef Alberto Chicote. He also visited El Templo, a true sanctuary of matured meat, among other establishments.

Now, Pablo returns to Alicante and this time he will hardly forget the experience. On this occasion, Cenando con Pablo has visited a well-known sushi buffet in the capital that offers all-you-can-eat for 17 euros on weekdays, 19 on weekends.

And Pablo, who even faced the Don Solomillón challenge, misjudged his strength and almost had a mishap despite being very optimistic: "I come to devour the entire menu," says Pablo at the beginning of the video he posted on social media.

He starts very strong by ordering all the nigiris on the menu: salmon, tuna, butterfish, eel, and octopus. Of all, his favorite is tuna, an ingredient he would repeat in other dishes, and which left him impressed: "Tuna of this level at 17 euros seems like a bargain," he admits, surprised.

He continues with the salmon roll with pistachio on top ("I had never seen it before") and a whole boat of sushis with Doritos. By the third tray, Pablo seems to become aware of what awaits him: "Do you want to finish me off?" he asks, surprised, upon seeing a large plate with tuna tartare with puffed rice, Philadelphia cheese, and another with strawberry.

The feast was not going to end there and the friendly owner kept bringing out dishes: tuna tartare, temaki with spicy tuna, more salmon, vegetable and meat goyzas... A gargantuan dinner that makes Pablo surrender when the beef arrives and asks not to bring dessert because he couldn't take it anymore. So much so that he admits he doesn't enjoy it because he can't take it anymore.
