A 'Super Robust' Frontera Designed for Rough Gravel Roads

The new Opel Frontera is ready for daily adventures. It is versatile, offers ample space, is electrified in all variants, and is thus perfectly equipped for the demands of everyday life. However, the robust and family-friendly SUV can also be even more adventurous.

More robust, more resilient, designed for adventures beyond the asphalt: this is the feeling conveyed by the Frontera GRAVEL from the Opel Vizor to the striking rear bumper. The newcomer was designed by Opel and the BlackFish Graphics design studio and realised by Opel and the specialists at XS.

The Frontera GRAVEL is based on the production version of the fully electric Frontera Electric: after all, adventurers and outdoor enthusiasts should be able to drive emission-free, especially on gravel roads in nature. And that is exactly what the Frontera Gravel is perfectly equipped for. This begins with the robust design and extends to numerous adventure features.

The paint and body lamination inspire at first glance. The matte black roof and bonnet contrast with the matte champagne foil chosen for the Frontera Gravel. The exterior mirror housings, front and rear bumpers, rear spoiler, and Opel Vizor add additional accents in orange.

The robust look is accentuated with the orange winch hook. The roof rack in the same colour is designed in a lattice shape for outdoor trips. Additional headlights are connected to the Thule Canyon XT rack and on the bonnet for better visibility when driving over rough terrain at night. To tackle the challenges of gravel and stone surfaces, the Frontera GRAVEL relies on special 7x16 inch CWE wheels from BORBET.

The 'robust yet friendly' look continues seamlessly inside. Here too, the specialists at XS have introduced strong contrasts. The driver and front passenger can enjoy comfortable seats, but unlike the standard Frontera, they come with bright orange details, while the interior roof is completely black.
