The Federation of Services to the Citizenship of CCOO-PV has postponed the strike in urban and interurban passenger transport in Alicante to the 28th and 29th of November. These days of stoppage will demand the advancement of the retirement age for drivers.

The union states that the strike on the 28th of October had "massive participation despite the abusive minimum services dictated by the Generalitat", which caused "a clear violation of the workers' right to strike".

In this regard, they have indicated that these minimum services have been challenged before the Administrative Litigation Court "for violating" this right. They detail that these "far exceed any minimum service dictated for the sector".

Likewise, the FSC of CCOO PV has approved to postpone all those mobilisations planned for the coming days that may affect the mobility of citizens, in any mode of transport, due to the impossibility of making movements, both individually and collectively, for a large part of the population.

Due to this situation, the union has postponed the indefinite strike for the ambulance sector in the Community, which was scheduled to start on Monday, the 18th of November.

The motivation for the indefinite strike call for the 18th of November, they explain, is "the employers' resistance to improve an agreement that dignifies working conditions in the Valencian Community and equates them with the rest of the communities, blocked after more than a year of negotiation".

Furthermore, they stress that the mobilisations can be avoided "if the employers and the Generalitat Valenciana agree to assume the just demands of the workers".
