Antonio Filosa, CEO of Stellantis' global car brand, continues his European tour with a visit to the modern plant in Trnava, Slovakia.
After visiting France, Italy, Spain, and Germany, Filosa maintains his strategy of staying close to the teams and overseeing the group's key operations.
During his stay in Trnava, Filosa was accompanied by a delegation of senior Stellantis executives, including Jean-Philippe Imparato (Chief Operating Officer for Enlarged Europe), Arnaud Deboeuf (Head of Manufacturing and Supply Chain), Ned Curic (Chief Engineering and Technology Officer), Sébastien Jacquet (Quality Director), Florian Huettl (Managing Director of Opel and Vauxhall), and Xavier Chardon (Managing Director of Citroën).
The main objective of the visit was to meet with local teams and, particularly, to focus on accelerating the production of strategic models and volume manufacturers based on the STLA Smart platform.
This modular architecture is crucial for Stellantis as it allows the production of small and medium-sized thermal, hybrid, and electric vehicles.
The Stellantis plant in Trnava, inaugurated in 2006, is a strategic facility with an industrial capacity of 400,000 vehicles and more than 3,000 employees.
Since 2025, it has been the production site for models such as the Citroën C3, Citroën C3 Aircross, and Opel/Vauxhall Frontera, all available in thermal, hybrid, and electric versions, highlighting the importance of this factory in Stellantis' transition towards electrification.
According to Stellantis, Antonio Filosa's visit to Trnava aims to optimize production processes and maintain proximity to its key manufacturing centers in Europe.
