Poeta Quintana street in Alicante transformed into a lively meeting space this Saturday, featuring live music, cultural activities, local gastronomy, and art, all aimed at boosting local commerce.

Councillor for Commerce, Lidia López, attended the event, highlighting "the resounding success and excellent reception of this new edition in the Quintana area," noting that "this street has become a commercial benchmark with a perfect blend of new businesses and traditional establishments."

The event, driven by the Quintana Area Merchants Association in collaboration with the Alicante City Council, strengthened ties between residents and visitors, promoting a closer and more sustainable consumption model. The day was an opportunity to enjoy outdoor leisure and discover the richness and variety of local commerce.

Local businesses took to the streets to offer their products and gastronomic proposals, a special celebration that this year holds even more significance with Alicante as the Spanish Capital of Gastronomy.

"We have experienced a very special day, where in addition to enjoying the atmosphere, we have been able to purchase quality products. This initiative is a recognition of the efforts of the merchants who have managed to turn Poeta Quintana into a vibrant street, with its own identity and capable of attracting both locals and visitors," assured the councillor.
