This season, McDonald's has launched the 'CBO by Plex' traveller's menu, a "young, vibrant proposal designed to captivate adventurous palates." Upon opening the burger box, a surprise awaits: a packet with Alicante's flavour.
The 'Rosso' seasoning, crafted by Carmencita, is "one of the key ingredients of the combo," according to the Novelda-based company, which boasts a "unique" blend that complements the CBO burger's flavour.
The spice packet includes ingredients such as tomato, salt, natural aromas, garlic, and parsley, offering "Mediterranean notes" to delight palates with "a finish full of personality," adding the final touch to this McDonald's summer menu.
"That a global brand like McDonald's has trusted Carmencita to sign the flavour of its most traveller's menu is a testament that innovation and tradition can go hand in hand," stated its general manager, Jesús Navarro Alberola.

Design of the spices for McDonald's
This 'Rosso' seasoning was designed by McDonald's in collaboration with Carmencita, which contributed its expertise in the spice world. It is a partnership between both companies that highlights the importance of having local suppliers, in this case, a company with over a hundred years of history, born in Novelda.
