Spectacular Ram-Raid at a Jewellery Store in Parquesur Shopping Centre, Leganés

Spectacular ram-raid at the Parquesur Shopping Centre in Leganés (Madrid). A car sped into the centre with the aim of committing a smash-and-grab robbery at a jewellery store. The incident occurred around 11:00 am when a gang crashed a black Audi into the Jolfer jewellery store on the ground floor.

The criminals, armed with pistols, exited the vehicle and entered the store to steal. They then got back into the presumably stolen car. Moments later, they attempted to rob another similar establishment, the Roselin chain, smashing one of its windows with sledgehammers, but failed to take anything before fleeing.

The National Police received the alert from the Shopping Centre and are investigating the incident. Additionally, roadblocks have been set up on main roads in search of the vehicle, whose license plate was captured by some witnesses on their mobile phones.

The private security services at Parquesur were left stunned by the violence and speed of the assailants, and some shops, alerted by the incident, closed their doors at the time of the event.
