Spanish Motorcycle Tank Bags Win Prestigious Red Dot Design Award

SHAD, the renowned Spanish manufacturer of motorcycle luggage and accessories, has been awarded the international Red Dot Award in the Product Design category. The winning product is the tank bag featuring the Click System mounting system.

The Red Dot Award is one of the most prestigious accolades in the design field, granted by an international jury of experts who evaluate products worldwide based on innovation, aesthetics, and functionality.

This marks the fifth time SHAD's designs have been recognized at the Red Dot Design Awards. Previously, the SH36 side case in 2015, the expandable SH58X top case in 2017, the TERRA aluminium cases in 2021, and the SH38X Expandable side case in 2024 were honoured.

"This recognition is the result of the hard work of our internal SHAD design team in collaboration with Magma Design studio," stated the brand.

The tank bags feature a Click System mounting developed by SHAD, allowing for quick and secure attachment to any type of motorcycle, providing an ergonomic and practical solution for users. Thanks to its intuitive design, they are easy to detach using the push button and allow for safe riding even without locking them with a key. The development of specific fittings makes them compatible with over 200 motorcycle models. Focused on versatility, the range also allows any bag to be interchanged on the same mount.
