Adrián and Pedro, the sons of the late Pedro Luis Sirvent, who tragically passed away due to an explosion in his workshop last March, are taking over the special task of igniting the official bonfires of Alicante.
This Monday, artists Pedro Espadero and Sergio Gómez confirmed their role in arranging the pyrotechnic display that will mark the beginning of the cremà of their bonfires at Alicante's Town Hall Square. These will be the first to burn following the monumental palm tree.
At the stroke of midnight, the grand imperial palm tree firework will signal the city. Let the night of Sant Joan begin. As tears fall over the fortress, the child bellea del foc, Valentina Tárraga, will press the button to ignite the 'H2O' firecracker.
Minutes later, once the official children's bonfire has been consumed by flames, Adriana Vico, the bellea del foc of Alicante 2025, will do the same with 'Identity', dedicated to the master pyrotechnician. As the firecracker surrounds every corner and reaches the pinnacle, a pyrotechnic show will celebrate this new chapter.
This 2025, the sons of Pedro Luis Sirvent, responsible for Pirotencia Hermanos Sirvent, will oversee the entire process. From planning how these bonfires should burn to the spectacle they should provide as the dance of flames begins.
Their sons, Adrián and Pedro, have extensive experience in the art of pyrotechnics, as demonstrated by their recent cremà in Albacete, where they traditionally ignited the bonfire of the convivencias after launching two mascletàs that captivated the people of Castilla-La Mancha.
With just over a month and a half to go, the young pyrotechnicians are set to crown this assignment, the highest honour in the city of Alicante, entrusted to them by legendary artists Pedro Espadero and Sergio Gómez.
