Solidarity Registrations in El Campello Beach Volleyball Event for DANA Victims

The Valencian Community Volleyball Federation has launched a solidarity initiative to support those affected by the DANA during the first event of the Winter Beach Volleyball Circuit, which will take place in El Campello on November 23 and 24. How will the DANA victims be supported? All aid will be channeled through the Red Cross as follows:

• All registrations (both for the amateur events on the 23rd and the pro on the 24th) will be directed to the DANA victims through the Red Cross. Registrations are made at beachliga.com.

• A Zero Row has been enabled on the FVBCV website (fvbcv.com) for those who want to help and are not athletes.

"We all have heavy hearts for what has happened in the province of Valencia, and our humble way of helping is to allocate all the registration money from the El Campello event to the victims. We want to open this initiative to everyone, not just athletes, which is why we have also enabled a Zero Row to raise funds," says Arturo Ruiz, president of the FVBCV. "All aid will be channeled through the Red Cross and its special project for DANA victims. We expect a great response from the entire volleyball family of our Community because the occasion deserves it. After everything that has happened, we could not start our Winter Circuit, which is gaining more prestige, in any other way," adds Arturo Ruiz.

The El Campello event on November 23 and 24 is the first of six that make up the Valencian Community Winter Beach Volleyball Circuit. This circuit is eligible for the national ranking, distributes cash prizes, and features the best beach volleyball pairs in Spain, as well as numerous international ones.

The Winter Circuit 24-25 starts in El Campello and will then move to La Malvarrosa (December 14 and 15), Sant Joan d'Alacant (January 25 and 26), Gandía (February 8 and 9), Benicàssim (March 8 and 9), and Playa San Juan (March 29 and 30).
