Alicante province will bid farewell to January with typically wintry days, as announced by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet). On Thursday, January 30, the skies will start with cloudy intervals, especially in the north of the province. The skies will gradually become more overcast throughout the day, becoming cloudy by the afternoon.
Additionally, Aemet has forecasted possible light rain in Alicante province, which may be scattered in the second half of the day. This probability, combined with low temperatures, will place the snow level around 1000-1200 meters. Therefore, snow could return to the province's peaks, such as Aitana or Font Roja, this Thursday.

Temperatures will remain largely unchanged, with minimums potentially approaching 0 degrees in inland towns such as Villena or Ibi. Conversely, maximums will continue the trend of recent days, with coastal towns experiencing temperatures between 18 and 19 degrees.
Looking ahead to Friday, January 31, cloudy intervals are expected, more abundant in the northern coast, where scattered showers are not ruled out. Minimum temperatures will continue to drop, with little change in maximums. Additionally, Aemet has announced light frosts in the interior, so caution is advised when driving in the early hours of the day.
