Snow is experiencing its final days in the province of Alicante. Frost persists in the highest mountain points following the weekend's snowfall. This phenomenon will completely dissipate in the coming hours as the Garoé storm advances.

This phenomenon is gradually entering the province of Alicante while already affecting parts of Spain. The State Meteorological Agency has issued a red alert, the highest level, in various municipalities in the southwestern peninsula due to the effects of Garoé.

The Atlantic storm will cross the province of Alicante with southwesterly winds, bringing widespread rain and a notable increase in temperatures, leaving behind the negative degrees recorded in recent days.

The Aemet forecasts rain in Alicante for this Tuesday, which will subside by Thursday. The probability of precipitation is 80% for the day, with a minimum of ten degrees - four more than last Monday - and maximum temperatures of 18 degrees in the city.

Clouds will disappear in the coming days, while temperatures continue to rise reaching up to 22 degrees by Thursday, when the trail of the Garoé storm fades.

The weather outlook for the city of Alicante will extend to the rest of the province, with rain during this Tuesday and a significant rise in temperatures throughout the territory.

Weather in the province of Alicante

The city of Alcoi wakes up this Tuesday submerged in nine degrees, three more than the minimums that already exceed two on this Monday. Aemet also forecasts rain in the interior of the province, coming from the Garoé storm.

Precipitation, up to 90% according to Aemet, will cease in the coming hours to see the sun by late Tuesday afternoon. It will hold for the rest of the week, overshadowed by occasional clouds, while thermometers will reach highs of up to 20 degrees in Alcoi.

The northern coast of the province of Alicante shares the same outlook: rain this Tuesday, according to Aemet, and a rise in minimums, from five to eight degrees this Tuesday in Dénia.

Rain also reaches Vega Baja in the form of showers. The storm will bring more warmth to Orihuela, with an average of 16 degrees throughout this Tuesday. Minimums gain four degrees, reaching seven, and maximums will be 22.
