In the hours leading up to the second leg of the Champions League semi-final between Inter Milan and Barcelona, set to take place this Tuesday at the Giuseppe Meazza, uncertainty remains over Lautaro Martínez's participation, the key figure in the 'Nerazzurri' attack. Simone Inzaghi, his coach, avoided giving hints about the Argentine striker's physical condition, who had to leave the match at Montjuic due to a muscle strain.

"We will decide with the doctors based on his feelings," the Italian coach explained briefly, after clarifying that "he participated partially in the last training session and was cautious." "We will see if he will play," he added, maintaining an air of mystery.

"Barcelona posed many challenges, but we have a strong, competitive, and focused squad, knowing that after the first leg's result, it is a final in front of our supporters and there will be only one winner," he analysed regarding the match on Inter's home ground.

"Barcelona wants to maintain possession, and their style doesn't change much between La Liga and the Champions League. They have great quality, are intense, take calculated risks in defence, and have a coach I admire like Hansi Flick. Right now, they might be the best team in the world, and a great Inter must be seen," he insisted, praising the opponent while expressing confidence in his team.
