Renfe increases the weekly service offer for Alicante with Euromed trains connecting the city with Catalonia, Castellón, and Valencia. Starting November 5, Alicante will have two more Euromed services every weekend, one service on Saturdays originating from Barcelona and another on Sundays starting in Alicante.

From November 5, the Euromed route will extend to Alicante, departing from Barcelona at 8:15 AM; Valencia at 11:19 AM, and on Sundays, the Euromed will start from Alicante at 12:35 PM with destinations to Valencia at 3:02 PM and Barcelona Sants at 6:19 PM.

The Long-Distance services of the Mediterranean Corridor offer 20,000 weekly seats for Alicante, available on Euromed trains for the Barcelona-Alicante route and Intercity trains linking Catalonia with the Valencian Community and the Region of Murcia.

Modification at the Valencia Stop

Renfe temporarily relocates the Euromed services stop in Valencia, so all Euromed trains will start and end their journey at València Nord and not at Joaquín Sorolla as currently done. The company has already put tickets on sale until December 14, and it is planned to extend sales until January soon.

This provisional modification of the stop in Valencia, which will be established from November 5 to December 22, is due to a new phase in the works being carried out by Adif for the creation of the Access Channel, which involves actions at the Joaquín Sorolla station to expand the station's capacity and increase the track bundle there.
