Scattered Showers on Alicante Coast This Wednesday

Scattered showers are expected along the southern coast of Alicante province this Wednesday, according to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet). The skies will be cloudy, clearing to partly cloudy in the interior by the afternoon. Some showers may be accompanied by occasional storms.

Temperatures will remain largely unchanged, except for a rise in maximum temperatures along the coast. In Alicante, the minimum will be 7°C and the maximum 22°C; in Elche, 6°C and 22°C respectively; in Alcoi, 6°C and 17°C; in Dénia, 7°C and 20°C; and in Orihuela, 7°C and 22°C. Winds will be light and variable, tending to light northwesterly with moderate gusts in the afternoon.

Looking ahead to Thursday, partly cloudy skies are expected, clearing to mostly clear with high clouds in the morning. Temperatures will see little change, except for a slight decrease in maximum temperatures along the coast. Winds will be light from the west, with occasional increases in intensity early on, decreasing to light variable winds by the afternoon.
