No respite for Rubén Torrecilla this week. The Hercules coach must once again contend with injuries and suspensions to compete at their best next Sunday against leaders Ibiza at the Rico Pérez (12:00 pm).

This time, the problems are once again recurring in the attack, an area where misfortune struck the Alicante club in January. The arrival of Yanis Senhadji (Spain U19 international) brought excitement, but the forward tore his meniscus on his debut against Yeclano and has not been available since. Now, Coscia must serve a one-match suspension due to an accumulation of yellow cards, leaving Dani Romera as the only option for the number nine position. However, the Almerian forward is not in peak condition. In the derby against Alcoyano, he was not called up due to discomfort, and against Castilla and Ceuta, he only played the final minutes as he was not fit for more. Now he has a week of work ahead to regain his form and compete at his best against an Ibiza side that will arrive wounded at the Rico Pérez after being surprised by bottom club Intercity (0-2).

Romera joined Hercules under Torrecilla, with whom he shares a friendship from their time together at Castellón, but the Almerian's performance has been disappointing so far. The 29-year-old forward has only started 9 of the 29 matches played and has scored three goals, the same as Alvarito, Aranda, and Javi Moreno.

The problems for Hercules are not limited to the number nine position, as attacking midfielder Aranda and central midfielder Roger Colomina remain doubtful and, if they make it to Sunday's match, it would only be for a few minutes. Aranda has been suffering from a bone edema in his toe for several weeks and decided to get an injection to help the team, which worsened the injury, and he has now had to stop completely. Meanwhile, Colomina suffered a muscle tear in Alcoy and rested against Castilla and Ceuta. Torrecilla wants him back as soon as possible because he is a key player for him, but rushing his return would be counterproductive, and it is also true that Artiles and Mangada are performing well in the engine room.
