Role-playing, Cards, and Wargames: Villena Hosts a Board Game Marathon

Role-playing, cards, miniatures, strategy, or adventures are some of the board game types that the Youth Space of Villena has prepared for the marathon on Saturday, June 7. This centre has organised the first edition of the event 'Villena Rolls for You', a mega-session offering continuous fun from 10 AM to 9 PM.

This event aims to provide an alternative to screens through board games. It also has a charitable aspect, as participation requires purchasing a €3 ticket, which will be donated to the non-profit organisation Fundación Cadete.

The Youth Space emphasises that "board games have always been supported as the perfect activity for socialising, teamwork, and fostering collaboration in an environment that, while competitive, is not about rivalry." Beyond screens, 'cardboard enthusiasts' offer a diverse universe of experiences with games in different types, modes, ages, and complexities: cards, role-playing, Wargames, Party Games, with tokens, miniatures, epic fantasy, strategy, adventure, children's games, collectible decks, simulation, or resource management.

On the upcoming Saturday, various board game sessions will be organised for all ages. Additionally, participants can enjoy demonstrations and prize draws. One of the features of this edition of 'Villena Rolls for You' is the opportunity to participate in games that are in the prototype and testing phase, allowing entry into a draw for a Games Workshop Othar Half-King miniature.
