Road safety will now be studied at university thanks to an agreement reached between Nebrija University and the RACE Foundation. Both entities will collaborate on academic, cultural, and training programmes related to mobility and road safety.

The agreement, signed by the rector of Nebrija University, José Muñiz, and the director of the RACE Foundation, Ignacio Fernández, includes initiatives in research projects primarily in areas related to the automotive sector; the development of short-term training programmes, seminars, workshops, courses, conferences, etc.; as well as the execution of academic, cultural, or research activities.

With this agreement, Nebrija University joins as an academic support entity for the international training programmes that the CIFAL Madrid RACE Centre, linked to the United Nations, is responsible for conducting to train authorities and leaders in mobility and road safety.

According to the director of the RACE Foundation, Ignacio Fernández, the agreement will "foster young talent in the field of mobility and generate solutions based on scientific knowledge that positively impact society." Meanwhile, for the rector of Nebrija University, José Muñiz, it "will represent an important step for the institution's students in all areas of knowledge, especially in engineering, thus reinforcing the 'learning by doing' philosophy."
