Risto Mejide Interviews His Girlfriend, Laia Grassi, on 'Viajando con Chéster'

Risto Mejide conducted one of his most special interviews on 'Viajando con Chéster' by having his current partner, Laia Grassi, on the sofa. It was a rather unique situation that he decided to address from the outset. "I've done 'Chéster', but this is the most complicated one," he stated before they both explained how they reached that moment. "When we were both in the same room, everything changed," revealed the Artificial Intelligence specialist.

The publicist recounted how the 'Chéster' team was preparing a programme about AI when she appeared on 'Todo es mentira', also hosted by Risto. It was after seeing her on the afternoon show that they decided Grassi was the right person, despite the Catalan's reservations. "The programme team decided that you should come to 'Chester'. At that moment, I said no, that you weren't the person we were looking for," he recalled.

The presenter already sensed that if they met, sparks would fly. And so it was. When her participation in the interview space was confirmed, they met in Barcelona for dinner and "what I imagined would happen, happened. I was absolutely amazed," he confessed. A mutual admiration that, in the case of the AI specialist, had been long-standing: "Let's say that as soon as I knew about you many years ago, you caught my attention for what you were doing and how you were changing things in the world of communication. When we talked about meeting, chatting, having a coffee, I knew something would come out of it, but I didn't know what." "I didn't expect what has come out, to be honest. It's just that as soon as we were both in the same room, everything changed. And everything has changed and continues to change," Laia concluded.
