Repeat Offender Robs Man Outside Gaming Hall in Alcoi

The National Police have arrested a repeat offender in Alcoi, a 44-year-old Spanish man, for allegedly robbing a man outside

a gaming hall. The arrested individual is accused of committing robbery with violence and intimidation. The judge has ordered his detention.

According to the National Police, the arrested person attacked the victim upon leaving the premises. After following him for a few minutes, he took advantage of the moment when the victim was in a public area, devoid of witnesses and other passersby, to violently assault him from behind, surprising him and forcing him to hand over money and valuables, then fleeing the scene.

The investigating officers conducted efforts to identify and arrest the suspect, who was located and detained as the alleged perpetrator of a robbery with violence and intimidation.

The arrested individual, with an extensive police record for similar incidents, has been brought before the Court of Instruction in Alcoi, which has ordered his detention.
