Reflecting Sexual, Gender, and Family Diversity in Elda's Fallas is Rewarded

Elda continues its path towards a society that is aware of the rights of the LGTBIQ+ community. The fallas commissions that best reflect sexual, gender, and family diversity will receive a decoration from the City Council.

On Friday, September 27, the Diversity Department will grant two distinctions to the ninots in the child and adult categories that contribute to the promotion and advancement of the community.
Anabel García, councilor of the area, expresses the importance of fallas continuing to participate in recognizing diversity and promoting the rights of the community: "Fallas are a fundamental showcase to continue advancing in promoting diversity in our society, and that is why we are very satisfied with the response from the fallas commissions."
The jury will visit the fallas districts and evaluate aspects such as the use of inclusive language, the sentiment of the work, or the originality of the scene.
