Rain Returns to Alicante This Thursday

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts for this Wednesday in the province of Alicante a slightly cloudy sky, increasing to cloudy intervals in the afternoon. Weak and scattered precipitation in the interior is not ruled out in the late hours.

Temperatures with little change, with minimums of 8 and maximums of 16º in Alcoi; 13 and 22º respectively in Alicante; 12 and 20º in Dénia; 11 and 21º in Elche; and 11 and 21º in Orihuela.

Meanwhile, the wind will be moderate from the west; in the afternoon, it will shift to a moderate southwest on the coast and light from the west with intervals of moderate intensity inland.

Looking ahead to Thursday, cloudy intervals are expected, increasing to very cloudy or overcast skies in the afternoon. Rain is also expected during the second half of the day, not ruling out weak and scattered rain in the morning. Minimum temperatures will slightly decrease or remain unchanged, and maximum temperatures will generally decrease.

The wind will blow lightly from the west, with moderate intervals; in the afternoon, it will turn southwest on the coast, occasionally strong in the late hours; inland, light winds from the south will prevail. Rain is also expected for the rest of the week.
