À Punt Sets Historic Monthly Audience Record

The public broadcaster achieves a 4.7% share and nearly three million viewers in March

À Punt set a historic monthly audience record in March with a 4.7% screen share and 2,914,000 unique viewers, marking the season's peak. The Valencian public broadcaster dedicated March to broadcasting the Fallas and Magdalena festivals, as well as covering the rainstorm that affected the Valencian Community. Consequently, the regional channel stands as the primary alternative to major national broadcasters, surpassing La 2.

56% of Valencians tuned into À Punt throughout the month, achieving its best figures, even surpassing last November's 4.4% during the dana coverage. Notably, midday and prime time slots saw increases. In fact, the midday slot, with a 7.9% average share, ranks as the third choice for Valencian viewers, only behind A3 and La1.

News remains one of À Punt's strong suits. Notably, Notícias Migdia, with a 13.2% share, was the most-watched program of the month, following Fallas-related broadcasts, which garnered the highest viewership. The NTC Nit also recorded impressive figures with a 5.8% monthly share and 162,000 unique viewers.

Fallas and Magdalena

Regarding Fallas programming, highlights include La Cremà Infantil, with 548,000 unique viewers and a 13.4% share, La Cremà, which drew 464,000 viewers and a 13.2% share, and the Fallas mascletaes, achieving a 21.3% share and 1,231,000 viewers throughout the festivities. The two-day Ofrena broadcast attracted 463,000 viewers and marked a 6.7% share.

The Magdalena Festivities also captivated Valencian interest. The Magdalena Vítol broadcast stood out with 177,000 unique viewers and a 4.9% screen share. Daily mascletaes during Castellón's foundational celebrations also drew significant audience interest, achieving a 7.5% share and 405,000 unique viewers over ten days. The Romería de las Cañas also performed well with a 7.1% share and 188,000 unique viewers.

Among other channel programs, the special A la Saca: edició vip on March 21 recorded a 4.5% share and 95,000 unique viewers. On the challenging Sunday nights, Las Pelotaris, the leading series on À Punt, achieved a 3.8% average share throughout the month.

Additionally, the daily midday edition of A la Saca recorded a 6.1% monthly share, and the program Zoom reached a 4.5% average on Monday nights.

The premiere of Emergències last Tuesday, with a 3.5% share, also ranked among the top spots. The program showcases the lesser-known work of state security forces and emergency health services operating in the Valencian Community.

The best day of the month was Saint Joseph's Day, with a 9.2% share and nearly 1.2 million unique viewers. The two preceding days also stood out, with the Ofrena (6.3% and 8.6%) and Wednesday, March 5, when an 8% share was achieved with coverage of the rainstorm affecting the community in March.

The web and social media also grow

À Punt's website also experienced a 56% growth in unique users in March compared to the previous month, reaching nearly one million unique users.

Video plays across À Punt's social media platforms increased by 122% compared to March 2023, with over 40.5 million video plays last month in 2023. Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook, and Youtube

Once again, À Punt solidifies its position as the preferred choice for Valencians seeking news and events closest to them.
