À Punt is launching a new daily magazine show this summer under a historically significant name in Valencian public broadcasting: 'A la fresca'. The programme, airing Monday to Friday from June 30, is the network's major summer offering, designed to accompany viewers during the holiday season with a dynamic and open format focusing on community engagement.
The show will be hosted by two familiar faces to the Valencian audience: Eduard Forés and Maria Fuster, both with extensive experience in television. The set, an artificial beach inside Studio 1 at the Burjassot Production Centre, promises a relaxed and summery atmosphere, perfect for sharing stories, interviews, and current events with a fresh and approachable tone.
"Returning to À Punt is a great joy," says Forés, highlighting the rapport with his co-host: "Working with Maria is a gift. She brings freshness, joy, and professionalism. I'm sure this synergy will be evident on screen."
Forés has a solid career that began at Canal 9 in 1993. He has been part of shows like 'Tela Marinera', 'Telescopy', 'Abanibí', and 'La Terrassa', among others. In this new phase, he returns with renewed energy to connect with À Punt's audience.
Meanwhile, Maria Fuster has worked at RTVE, La 2, and TV3 before joining À Punt, where she has hosted shows like 'El Matí À Punt', 'Bona Vesprada', and 'Fas Festa'. "I'm very excited about this new challenge," she says. "We want viewers to feel that 'A la fresca' is also their home, a place to share stories and have a good time."
Produced by Perifèric TV
The programme is produced by Perifèric TV, with over 25 years of experience in the audiovisual sector. Leading the project is journalist and producer Josep Ramon Lluch, who has directed numerous magazine shows for public and private broadcasters at both regional and national levels. "The goal is to create a programme that connects with the audience and reflects our society, with real and relatable stories," Lluch states.
Content with Local Flavour
'A la fresca' will focus on human stories, traditions, curiosities, and current events, with special attention to the towns and cities of the Valencian Community. The programme is already working on segments that will seek out the best local lunches, gather testimonials from tourists who chose this land to settle, and highlight notable or unique figures visiting each summer.
Every afternoon, viewers can enjoy a moment of pleasant and engaging entertainment, with the distinctive touch of À Punt and the welcoming spirit of 'A la fresca'.
