The Puçol Project Presents an Initiative to Disseminate the Oral Memory of Camp d'Elx

The oral memory of Camp d'Elx is the starting point of the next study by the Puçol Project. The initiative, subsidized by the Provincial Council, compiles interviews with testimonies from elders of the Puçol hamlet and surrounding areas.

Interviews and talks with local citizens will focus on rural life, knowledge, and experiences linked to the School Museum since its foundation.

Photographs, letters, or diaries accompany this project where both oral and photographic content aim to show the way of life of 20th-century citizens of Elche who lived in a rural society.

The purpose of the idea promoted by the Alicante Provincial Council and the Puçol Project is to investigate, safeguard, promote, and disseminate the heritage of the study area. The way to achieve this goal will be through a publication for dissemination, with complete accessibility.
