PSPV-PSOE spokesperson Vicente Arques and Compromís spokesperson Ximo Perles from the Alicante Provincial Council are set to request an investigation to clarify the events that occurred on Saturday during the administrative assistant examination of the Provincial Council.

The socialist spokesperson described the case as a "scandal" and believes it is "necessary to conduct an investigation to clarify what happened and to hold those responsible accountable." Therefore, "in light of the serious events and the complicit silence of Toni Pérez, we have requested an investigation, in addition to asking for the temporary suspension of responsibilities from those in charge of this competitive examination until the facts are clarified."

Arques also clarified that "this embarrassing spectacle is yet another example of how the provincial institution is managed: negligence and paralysis allow events to occur that put the Provincial Council in a bad light."

On the other hand, Perles stated that "we will thoroughly investigate what happened with this process. Once again, we find that the provincial administration generates distrust and discontent among the candidates, who have dedicated time and effort to apply for these positions and are faced with an examination that does not meet the established criteria."

The Valencian spokesperson also stated that "we will take this matter wherever necessary, both institutionally and legally if needed, because we will not tolerate playing with citizens' job opportunities. We demand transparency and impartiality. We cannot allow the Provincial Council to continue with opaque practices that harm applicants and fuel suspicions of favoritism."

Both spokespersons have agreed on a joint position on shared issues and future actions aimed at creating a more agile and useful administration, free from the partisanship and paralysis provided by the Popular Party.
