The Provincial Council Organizes a Hike through Sella and Relleu Next Sunday

After the summer break, the Hiking Program 'Walking with the Alicante Provincial Council' returns. Sella and Relleu will kick off this season next Sunday, September 8th, with an 11.38-kilometer circular route offering participants the chance to discover the unique landscape and water heritage of the area.

The planned schedule will continue on Sunday, September 15th with an excursion around Calp that will cover part of the PR-CV 340 trail and pass through unique spots such as Pou de la Mola, Mirador del Mascarat, and the Hermitage of San Francesc.

The Protected Landscape of Solana del Benicadell -Gaianes-, l'Alt Pelat in El Fondó de les Neus, and the natural and cultural surroundings of Cox are other locations included in this hiking program, which will run until October 6th.

As in previous editions, this activity is intended for people over 16 years old. Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The organization recommends hikers bring a backpack, long pants, a shirt and spare clothes, warm clothing - depending on the weather -, mountain footwear, sunscreen, sunglasses, a mobile phone with a charged battery, as well as food and drink.

Additionally, a bus will be available to participants to transport them from Plaza de los Luceros in Alicante to the various starting points - return trip included. The prices for the activity range from 12 to 20 euros.
