'Enemies', the new film by Alicante director and screenwriter David Valero, will hit cinemas across Spain this weekend. Ahead of the anticipated premiere, the filmmaker participated in a reception at the Alicante Provincial Council.

The provincial institution, through the Culture Deputy, Juan de Dios Navarro, has supported the presentation of this film. The official conveyed the "full support" of the Council for his work.

"For the province of Alicante, it is a pride to have a young director and screenwriter like David Valero, and from the Council, we are pleased to offer him our support because we are convinced that 'Enemies' will resonate deeply with the audience, both for its quality and thematic focus," Navarro stated.

As explained by the director himself, a native of Sant Vicent del Raspeig, it is a social film, shot in Alicante, addressing bullying among young people from the perspective of forgiveness. "The film talks about family, love, the importance of forgiveness, but also about hatred and violence," he said.

David Valero also noted that last March, 'Enemies' was presented at the Malaga Film Festival to great acclaim from both the public and critics.
