The Prosecutor's Office announced on Wednesday that it will appeal the ruling of Dani Alves to the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia, which acquitted the former footballer of a sexual assault charge. The Public Ministry stated that this measure will be taken as it believes a constitutional and legal infringement has occurred.
