Professor Enrique Herrero Announces His Candidacy for Rector of the University of Alicante

Professor Enrique Herrero announced this Thursday his intentions to run for the position of rector at the University of Alicante. He will compete with Amparo Navarro, who is seeking re-election for another six-year term - as stipulated by the LOSU - as she indicated during the closing of the last academic year.

As of now, there are two candidates for the position of rector at the academic institution. Both Navarro and Herrero will go to the polls at the end of 2024, when elections are scheduled to take place on the San Vicente campus.
