Prince Harry Reaches Settlement with Murdoch's Newspapers

Prince Harry has reached a settlement in his lawsuit against Rupert Murdoch's News Group Newspapers (NGN) for alleged illegal information gathering, his lawyer said on Wednesday, after the start of a long-awaited trial was unexpectedly delayed.

Harry, aged 40, the youngest son of King Charles, sued the publisher of The Sun and the now-defunct News of the World at London's High Court, claiming that NGN illegally obtained private information about him from 1996 to 2011.

His lawyer stated that a settlement had been reached to resolve the lawsuit.
