Primark is celebrating. The clothing company has reopened two of its key stores in the province of Alicante, now showcasing a much more modern design, including self-service checkouts to facilitate customer payments.
These are the stores in Orihuela and Elche, two key locations in this province situated in the ilicitano shopping centre of l'Aljub and Zenia Boulevard in Orihuela. These stores feature the new design implemented by the brand in its outlets.
These stores boast a modern design, featuring new elements and light boxes distributed throughout the clothing store. Additionally, the outlets now have self-service checkouts in addition to those attended by staff. Products such as the brand's fashion, beauty, leisure, and home articles take centre stage.
"We are delighted to welcome customers to our renovated stores in Orihuela and Elche," commented Mark Wilson, Primark's Area Manager for this region, highlighting the "modern decoration" and self-service checkouts, which "are designed to further enhance the shopping experience."
These new stores will participate in Primark's fundraising programme for those affected by the DANA in Valencia. The fundraising will take place at the points of sale from now until January.
The chain has invested 80 million euros in eight new stores, an expansion of a store, and an investment of 20 million euros in improvements and renovations in existing stores. In fact, seven of these eight new outlets are already open, and the Elche and Orihuela stores are part of this 100 million euro investment.
