Former Councillor for Justice and Emergencies, Salomé Pradas, arrived at the City of Justice in Valencia this Friday to testify as a suspect in the dana case amid shouts of 'murderers' and 'Mazón resignation'.

Pradas, accompanied by her lawyer, arrived at the court at 9:17 am, where she is to testify before the Court of Instruction number 3 of Catarroja regarding her management of the dana on October 29. Her former deputy, Emilio Argüeso, is scheduled to appear at 12:30 pm. These are the first two summonses as suspects in the proceedings.

Upon the former councillor's arrival, protesters shouted 'murderers' and sounded a siren. Subsequently, victims and their families embraced and began to cry, asking politicians, 'Where were you at those hours?'

Pradas arrived at the City of Justice amid significant media attention and, when asked if she could speak to the press, she replied that she would do so upon leaving, as would her lawyer, Eduardo de Urbano.

Moments before 9 am, several people, including family members and victims of the flood, as well as associations, were already gathered at the gates of the City of Justice with banners reading 'Murderers'; 'Justice for my husband and children'; 'Our relatives died due to your incompetence'; and 'Mazón resignation. Dana Victims Association'.

Additionally, some of those gathered at the court wore t-shirts reading '229 dead, 0 responsible. Valencia does not forget', and a giant figure of Mazón with a smiling face and red hands symbolizing they are stained with blood was displayed.

The investigating judge ordered Pradas' summons because she was the person with the highest authority on the day of the flood regarding the process of adopting self-protection measures for the population. Regarding Argüeso, it was noted that his testimony was 'necessary' given his 'organizational relevance and, therefore, decision-making'.
