Prada announces acquisition of rival Versace

Prada Group will become the new owner of the fashion house Versace. The brand, founded in the late seventies in Milan, was previously owned by the American group Capri Holding. The transaction has been finalised for a value of €1.25 billion ($1.4 billion).
