Power Outages in Alicante: These Neighbourhoods and Municipalities Will Be Affected by Supply Shortages

Power outages continue in Alicante this week. The electric company Iberdrola will interrupt service in various neighbourhoods and municipalities to conduct maintenance and improvement works on the network.

The city of Alicante will experience two outages this week, affecting the neighbourhoods of San Gabriel and Albufereta-Vía Parque. Both are expected to last over five hours during the morning.

The first of these outages will occur in San Gabriel, affecting the streets of Brazil (numbers 12, 14, 16, and 18), Mexico (numbers 15 and 17), and Paraguay (3, 5, 6, and 7), from 8:30 AM to 2 PM on Tuesday, May 27th.

The following day, May 28th, with the same duration, outages will occur in the Albufereta-Vía Parque neighbourhood. These will take place on the avenue of Torres de la Huerta, at number 15; although Iberdrola still maintains the avenue of Padre Ángel Escapa, removed due to sexual abuse allegations against minors.

There will also be power outages on Wednesday, May 28th, at number 1 of Camino de la Huerta and at Camino de Benimagrell number 2 in Santa Faz, Alicante.

Other municipalities in the province of Alicante that will also experience power outages include:

· Tuesday, May 27th: Adsubia, Alcoi, El Verger, Gata de Gorgos, Jávea, La Nucia, and L'Alfàs del Pi.

· Wednesday, May 28th: Algars (Cocentaina), Dénia, La Mata (Torrevieja), L'Alfàs del Pi, Novelda, Petrer, Teulada, and Torrevieja.

· Thursday, May 29th: Muro de Alcoi and Novelda.

· Friday, May 30th: Bigastro, Finestrat, Hondón de las Nieves, Gorga, La Romana, Mutxamel, Orihuela, and Raiguero de Bonanza.
