Up to 200 applicants are vying for the two local police positions announced by the Mutxamel Town Hall, with the selection process commencing with physical tests. The Mayor of Mutxamel, Rafael García Berenguer, expressed his satisfaction with the high level of participation, stating that it "highlights the interest in joining the local security force and reinforces the municipality's commitment to establishing a solid, prepared, and dedicated Local Police force for the protection and well-being of its residents."
The physical tests, the first phase of the process, have begun at the municipal sports facilities, under the supervision of the technical selection committee and with the technical support of sports professionals. Candidates must pass tests of endurance, speed, strength, and agility, all designed to assess the physical capabilities of the applicants.
Once the physical tests are passed, those deemed suitable will proceed to the next phases of the selection process, which include theoretical and psychotechnical tests.
The town council has emphasized the importance of this call, which reflects "the firm commitment of the government team to strengthen the police force as a strategic priority for the municipality."
The Mayor of Mutxamel highlighted that "citizen security is a fundamental commitment for this Town Hall, and the incorporation of new officers will allow for a more effective and closer service to the public."
