2024 was, as recorded in all consolidated and publicly available data to date, a historic year for tourism, fully recovered from the pandemic crisis and consistently breaking occupancy records and, more importantly, profitability in the main economic sector of the Costa Blanca.

As evidence of this, it was announced on Monday that Port Hotels closed the 2024 financial year with a turnover of 75 million euros, representing an increase of 13.6% compared to the 66 million obtained in 2023.

The company, with a presence in Benidorm (where it is headquartered), Calpe, Dénia, Alicante, Elche, and Valencia, strengthens its position in the sector thanks to a strategy based on cost optimization and the enhancement of its commercial offering.

As the chain's president, Toni Mayor, pointed out throughout the year, the consolidated business figures have confirmed that the growth of the hotel chain is reflected not only in turnover but also in profitability, which has seen a significant improvement.

Thus, the ADR, or average daily rate, has increased by 11.2%, demonstrating the company's ability to maximize revenue through an optimized pricing strategy. Moreover, these results reinforce Port Hotels' financial solidity and lay the groundwork for its future growth.

Expansion and New Openings

In line with its growth strategy, Port Hotels has announced an ambitious expansion plan. In 2026, it will inaugurate the new Port Benidorm, an establishment that aims to become a benchmark in the tourist capital of the Costa Blanca.

Furthermore, the company will continue repositioning its hotels and the organic growth of the brand, consolidating its leadership in the hotel sector.

The president of Port Hotels, Toni Mayor, has highlighted the fundamental role of the team in these results, stating that "the achievements we present today are the result of the effort, dedication, and talent of all the professionals who are part of Port Hotels. Their daily work is key to our growth and the excellence we offer to our clients."
