Pope Leon XIV will celebrate Mass at 11 a.m. this Friday with the cardinals in the Sistine Chapel, and on Sunday, he will recite the Regina Coeli from the central balcony of St. Peter's Basilica.

This was confirmed by the Director of the Holy See Press Office, Matteo Bruni, this Thursday during a briefing with journalists, following the election of the new Pontiff.

In his first hours as Pontiff, Prevost dined with the cardinal electors at the Casa Santa Marta, after addressing the thousands gathered in St. Peter's Square from the balcony following the white smoke signal.
