They entered the office of a significant political figure in Alicante and couldn't believe what they found there. What might have been a textbook clickbait headline is, in this case, entirely true. The story, as incredible as it may seem, is real, according to reports circulating among ornithological circles in the city.
The truth is, this is about birds. And no, we are not talking about the Defence Minister, Margarita Robles. Literally, it is about birds. It is unclear whether it was a parrot, seagull, tern, or pigeon, but a bird nested in the office of the now self-resigned Secretary General of the PSOE in Alicante, Miguel Millana.
Apparently, the office remained largely inactive and, worse, with an open window through which a bird entered, nested, and laid eggs. It deemed the place safe and quiet enough for the chicks to hatch.
A worker at the Pintor Gisbert headquarters was surprised to find the nest. After discussions among colleagues and party members, one realised it was not a common pigeon but a protected species. As a result, they could not remove the nest and had to wait for the birds to fly away on their own. An example of ecological awareness. Thanks to the PSOE from this parrot.
