The Advanced Tertiary Association and Aguas de Alicante will celebrate the fourth session of the project 'One Hour to Change', aimed at promoting sustainability in the province of Alicante, next Tuesday, September 17th. Under this motto, challenges related to sustainability in the context of the UN's 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals are being addressed.

Through five programs in Living Podcast format, the initiative seeks to inspire and highlight social commitment across various sectors in the province of Alicante. These programs serve as a meeting point between mayors from municipalities where Aguas de Alicante operates and specialized professionals from across the province in social sustainability. Topics such as waste and water resource management, sustainable tourism, and energy efficiency, among others, are discussed in the scheduled sessions.

With the participation of the municipalities of San Vicente del Raspeig, El Campello, Monforte del Cid, Petrer, and Sant Joan d'Alacant, this initiative aims to raise awareness and foster real change towards more sustainable practices in the province, given the urgent need to address these issues comprehensively.

This fourth meeting will take place next Tuesday, September 17th, at Espai Blanc in Petrer (C/ Gabriel Payá 14), starting at 9:30 AM. The speakers for this occasion will be: Irene Navarro, Mayor of Petrer; Sergio Sánchez, General Director of Aguas de Alicante; and Francisco Bautista, Interim Manager of Proyectiva. Anabel Rosas, Director of LÍDER, a collaborating media outlet for the project, will act as moderator.

To access the content of the Living Podcasts, you can visit the social media channels and websites of those involved, where recordings of each program will be available for viewing and engagement in the sustainability debate in our province.
