Ana Peleteiro has secured the bronze medal in the triple jump at the World Championships. The Spaniard, with a best jump of 14.29m, achieves her ninth international podium, only falling behind the formidable Cuban jumpers, Leyanis Pérez (14.93m, best world mark of the year) and Liadagmis Povea (14.57m), who claim a one-two finish.

This is the ninth international medal for Ana Peleteiro in her career following the Olympic bronze in Tokyo 2020, her European outdoor title last summer, her gold and silver at the European indoor level, and a total of three world indoor bronzes with today's, following those achieved in Birmingham 2018 and Glasgow 2024.
