It is a good measure, but a strategy will be needed to ensure other services are not neglected. This is the assessment made by pediatric professionals in Alicante regarding the Consell's plan to carry out, for the first time, a mass vaccination campaign against the flu in schools. The logic is that if healthcare professionals need to travel to schools to vaccinate 72,000 minors, there should be reinforcement or thorough distribution of professionals so that healthcare centers do not see their care capacity diminished.

This is explained by Carolina Torres, president of the Association of Outpatient Pediatrics of Alicante, who applauds the new strategy promoted by Health by noting the more than likely increase in vaccination coverage. This is because it will benefit family work-life balance, as they will no longer need to travel to healthcare centers for dose administration.
